What is a community directory?
A community directory keeps local recommendations in one shared place. With Nesthood, your neighbourhood, building, campus or group can save useful businesses and services, ask for ideas and share experiences without losing them in a busy group chat.
What can our community recommend?
Share coffee spots, food and drink, study spaces, local shops, tutors, bike repairs, cleaners, plumbers and other useful local services. Browse by category or service area, and use price guides where a community has added them. Contact businesses directly through the details on their listings.
Do I need an account to use Nesthood?
You can browse a community directory, suggest a recommendation, ask a question or share an experience without an account. To create or manage a community, sign in with Google. Each community has its own link that you can share with your group.
Who reviews community recommendations?
Community admins review suggestions, questions, answers and experiences before they appear. They can update or remove listings and review reports about incorrect details. Recommendations reflect community knowledge; they are not qualification, insurance or background checks.
How do I start a directory for my neighbourhood or campus?
Start a community, sign in with Google and give your community a name and link. Add your first local recommendations, share the link with your neighbours or student group, and invite other admins to help keep the directory useful.
